It’s time for ‘lalala’ again! tripleS has dropped their yearly full group EP, bringing together all 24 members for ‘<LOVE&POP> pt.1’. The title song, ‘Baby Flower’, is in tripleS’ signature style. The lyrics explore the challenges of growing up, touching on pain and perseverance, but also celebrating the beauty of growth. And of course, it features the iconic ‘Lalala’ chorus we all know and love!

In tripleS’s “Baby Flower,” this lyric turns pain into motion:

쏟아진 저 빗속에  

뛰어 들어가  

다시 비출 햇살을 향해서  

고개를 들어

Literally:

“Into that pouring rain,  

run in,  

toward the sunlight that will shine again,  

lift your head.”

The key feeling is in the movement.

쏟아진 comes from 쏟아지다, meaning “to pour down.”  

So this is not gentle rain. It feels heavy, sudden, overwhelming.

빗속에 뛰어 들어가 means “run into the rain.”  

Not avoid it. Not hide from it. Run into it.

Then comes the direction:

다시 비출 햇살을 향해서  

“toward the sunlight that will shine again.”

So the lyric is not saying:

“Everything is fine.”

It is saying:
