Today marks the comeback of Allday Project (ADDP) with their first EP and the title track “Look At Me.” And well… ADP is already one of the most debated rookie groups in K-pop.
Between accusations of cultural appropriation, to the Daesang controversy (rookies with three songs getting a grand prize), to fans calling them APP — “All Paid Project”… opinions have been strong, to say the least.
And honestly? Taste is taste — I’m personally not the biggest fan of the YG / THEBLACKLABEL sound either, but that doesn’t mean I don’t respect the artistry or production behind it. It just means: not every style is for everyone.
But one thing is true regardless of where you stand on ADP: their concept is built on confidence, swagger, and making you look at them.
Today’s two lines capture exactly that energy:
“날 바라볼 때
집중해 넌 뚫어질 듯”
“When you look at me,
focus — like you’re about to pierce right through.”
—
👀 날 바라볼 때 – “When you look at me”
• 날 (나를) → me
• 바라보다 → to look at, gaze at
• -때 → when
💡 Meaning:
A direct invitation — or command. ADP’s entire brand is built on watch me, focus on me, I am the moment. This line is their concept distilled into four syllables.
—
⚡️ 집중해 넌 뚫어질 듯 – “Focus — like you’re about to pierce through me”
• 집중해 → focus / concentrate
• 넌 → you
• 뚫어질 듯 → as if you’re going to pierce through (an exaggeration for intense staring)
💡 Interpretation:
This is a very YG-style expression — equating intensity with power and charisma. It’s basically: “Don’t look away — look harder.”
It carries boldness, a little arrogance, and strong stage presence all at once.

✨ Why It Fits ADP Perfectly
Regardless of where you land on the controversies, this is the kind of lyric that defines ADP’s concept:
🔥 self-assured
🔥 confrontational
🔥 “watch me rise whether you like me or not”
“날 바라볼 때 / 집중해 넌 뚫어질 듯” is more than just a line — it’s a mission statement.
Love them or hate them, they demand your attention.
