Kickflip is back with their fourth mini album! I already shared the lovely pre-release single “Twenty” last month. That song was a bit more laid-back, with lyrics about growing up and the heartache of a breakup. But the title track, “Eye-Poppin’ (눈에 거슬리고 싶어),” is a burst of energy—a bouncy, fast ride with lyrics that are perfect for teens.

It’s all about trying to catch someone’s eye, hoping to make a good impression.

Vocabulary & grammar breakdown

1. 네 시야에 기웃기웃 기웃거리게

• 네 시야에 = “in your field of vision”
• 기웃기웃 = mimetic word (“peeking / hovering around”)
• 기웃거리다 = “to linger / hover / sneak around”
• –게 = “so that”

→ “so that I keep hovering in your sight.”
