Latency, a rock band, released their debut EP titled ‘Late O’Clock’ today. The title track, also titled ‘Latency,’ is a rock song that showcases their musical style. While there are some similarities to QWER’s music, Latency brings their own unique sound to the table.
In an earlier post, I discussed the band members and their journey to forming Latency. Here, I’ll focus on the lyrics of their debut EP. The songs revolve around the band’s personal experiences and their unwavering determination to pursue their dreams. This feels real because while they are a new group, most of the members have prior experience in other groups. The lyrics emphasize the importance of perseverance and holding on to one’s aspirations, especially when faced with challenges.
밤하늘의 끝에서
날 부여잡은 꿈에서
여린 마음에 꾹 눌러 놓아봐도
“At the edge of the night sky,
in the dream that held onto me,
even if I try to press it down in my fragile heart…”
